How much could solar PV save you?
912 Modules: Trina Vertex 430W
Inverters: 2 x 100K SolarEdge, 1 x 66.6K SolarEdge
Optimizers: 600 x P850 SolarEdge
Mounting System: Sunfixings MRD S Steel Sheet
Metering Solution: SolarEdge G100
Safety Feature: SolarEdge Firefighter Gateway
The project involved accommodating the existing 60kW system and adding new panels on both South and North elevations. By leveraging SolarEdge’s Designer platform, we accurately predicted output differences between orientations and effectively utilised available roof space. The installation included SolarEdge’s Firefighter Gateway for safe, rapid DC shutdown in case of a fire alarm.
The system generates 304MWh annually, with 100% of the energy consumed on-site and 11% of import demand offset. This results in substantial annual savings of approximately £100,300, showcasing a strong return on investment and a significant reduction in energy costs for the facility.
