OVERVIEW
Westwood Energy completed a 104kW solar PV installation for All Steels Trading Ltd, a bulk importer of steel based in Scunthorpe. This project was executed in close coordination with the shed builder and M&E contractor to ensure alignment with the build phase timelines. The installation features advanced SolarEdge technology, including a Firefighter Gateway for enhanced safety.

HOW WE DID IT
The installation was carefully planned and executed to fit within the construction schedule. Working closely with the shed builder and M&E contractor ensured that all aspects of the build were integrated efficiently. The SolarEdge Firefighter Gateway was installed to provide a rapid DC shutdown capability, enhancing safety in case of a fire alarm.
OUR RESULTS
The solar PV system generates 91MWh annually, with 50% of this energy consumed on-site and 25% of the import demand offset. This results in annual savings of approximately £20,600, demonstrating the effectiveness of the installation in reducing energy costs and supporting the operational efficiency of All Steels Trading Ltd warehouse.
