The client required a solar PV system to support their energy needs at their steel stockholding warehouse. The system had to be integrated seamlessly with the ongoing construction and adhere to stringent safety standards, including the ability to quickly shut down the system in case of a fire.
104kW | Scunthorpe
Westwood Energy completed a 104kW solar PV installation for All Steels Trading Ltd, a bulk importer of steel based in Scunthorpe. This project was executed in close coordination with the shed builder and M&E contractor to ensure alignment with the build phase timelines. The installation features advanced SolarEdge technology, including a Firefighter Gateway for enhanced safety.
