What was achieved
Westwood Energy installed 211.68kW of PV on a potato cold store to offset electricity used during the storage and processing of potatoes. This was an East/West facing design which maximises the production day length, allowing the client to continue chiller operation throughout the day along side processing activities. Surplus electricity is sold back to the grid, generating further additional income.
